In our most recent effort to optimize Woopra for teams, we’ve launched the ability to share Labels and Triggers!
You’ll notice that all of your Labels and Triggers are now automatically shared with your entire team. However, you can still control who can edit each Label and Trigger.
Why Do I Need This?
Let’s answer this question with a story. Here’s something one of our clients experienced.
The client had been using Woopra for over a year in their marketing and sales teams. Now, their product team was interested in using Woopra as well. The product team wanted to use Woopra’s analytics and also Triggers to automate certain actions. The marketing team had already set up several Triggers, but the product team wanted to get more involved and expand on the existing Triggers.
They invited their 9-person product team to join Woopra as Agents. Now the product team just needed the Triggers. Since sharing Triggers wasn’t supported at the time, they had to re-create every single Trigger for every single team member.
Let’s say the marketing team had just 4 Triggers set up. They had to manually set up 36 Triggers just to get the product team started! And then there were the Labels too.
You can imagine how time consuming and frustrating this can be for teams. So, thanks to all the feedback from our customers, we've made things easier for you.
Labels are now automatically shared with your entire team. To give an Agent Group the ability to edit a Label, just click the arrow at the top right (see screenshot below) and select the desired Groups.
Note that you can only grant editing power if you are the creator of the Label. Also, all admins can edit all Labels by default.
Now, you might not want to see everyone’s Labels, so you have the option to choose. Each Agent can select whether or not they want to see the Labels in the People view and in Customer Profiles. All you need to do is check or uncheck the box in the screenshot below, which you will find at the bottom of each Label in the Editor view.
Like Labels, Triggers are now automatically shared with your entire team. To give an Agent Group the ability to edit a Trigger, just click the arrow at the top right and select the desired Groups, like in the screenshot below.
Note that you can only grant editing power if you are the creator of the Trigger. Also, all admins can edit all Triggers by default.
There is one important exception.
Your Notifications are considered “Personal” and will not be shared. This applies to both push and email Notifications.
